I recognize that financial circumstances can sometimes create barriers to accessing support, so I also offer a sliding scale option for individuals who may not be able to pay the full rate. Sliding scale spots are limited and provided on a case-by-case basis to ensure that therapy remains accessible while maintaining quality of care. If cost is a concern, please reach out to discuss options.

Children and Youth
Providing therapy for children 3+ and youth includes evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approaches tailored to each young person’s unique needs. Therapy may include play-based interventions, talk therapy, art and expressive therapies, and family involvement. Building a trusting relationship to help children process emotions, develop coping skills, and improve self-esteem. We may also use cognitive-behavioral techniques to address anxiety, depression, or trauma and collaborate with schools, caregivers, and other supports. Culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices are central to ensuring that therapy feels safe, inclusive, and empowering for children and youth.
Couples
Working with couples would include therapeutic frameworks that focus on communication, relationship dynamics, emotional connection, and conflict resolution. Therapy provides a neutral, supportive space where both partners can express their thoughts and feelings openly and respectfully. Common approaches may include emotionally focused therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, or cognitive-behavioural couples therapy. Therapy helps couples identify patterns, build empathy, strengthen trust, and develop healthier ways of relating. As a Social Worker, I am trained to recognize and address underlying issues such as trauma, mental health concerns, or family-of-origin dynamics that may impact the relationship. The goal is to foster resilience, mutual understanding, and improved relationship satisfaction in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Mental Health and or Addiction
Therapy for someone experiencing mental health challenges and or addiction would include a holistic, person-centerd approach to address both concerns together, if they coexist. This would involve building a trusting therapeutic relationship, exploring the underlying factors contributing to substance use and mental health symptoms, and developing individualized goals. Common approaches might integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse and safety prevention planning, while also connecting the person to community resources, support networks, and advocacy services to promote recovery and overall well-being.
Support Groups
Psychosocial therapy and educational support groups are structured settings where individuals come together to explore personal challenges, learn coping strategies, and gain insight into their emotions and behaviors through guided discussion and mutual support. As a social worker, these groups are used to foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes healing, empowerment, and growth. Support groups often focus on emotional processing, behavioral change, and improving interpersonal relationships, while educational components provide information, skills, and resources relevant to participants’ needs—such as managing stress, understanding mental health, or developing communication skills. In practice, social workers facilitate these groups by integrating therapeutic techniques with psychoeducation, encouraging peer support, and tailoring sessions to meet the diverse needs of participants, ultimately helping them build resilience and enhance their overall well-being.

Let's Talk
The first step in therapy is making the appointment. Let's find a time where we can meet and talk about what's on your mind.
I wholeheartedly believe in a rounded approach, one that supports physical, spiritual (in whatever way that resonates for you), and mental well-being. My areas of focus include compassionate, trauma-sensitive care, as well as support for neurodivergence, mental health challenges, and illness. I am committed to serving people across all stages of life—children, youth, adults, and seniors, because every individual’s well-being matters.
My Commitment to Indigenous Care
I acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional, unceded territory of Indigenous Peoples.
We honor and respect the histories, languages, cultures, and spiritual practices of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples whose presence continues to enrich our communities.
We recognize that Indigenous Peoples have experienced historical and ongoing impacts of colonization, including systemic barriers that contribute to housing insecurity, poverty, and health inequities. As part of my commitment to reconciliation and culturally safe practices, I am dedicated to providing services that honor Indigenous knowledge, values, and healing practices.
My approach includes:
- Collaborating with Indigenous communities, leaders, and organizations to guide and inform our work.
- Partnering with Elders and Knowledge Keepers to support traditional healing and cultural connection.
- Offering programming and support that are culturally appropriate and trauma-informed.
- Striving to create a welcoming environment where Indigenous clients feel respected, heard, and empowered.
- Committing to ongoing learning and reflection to ensure our services uphold the principles of reconciliation, equity, and dignity.
I am dedicated to walking alongside Indigenous Peoples in a spirit of humility, respect, and shared responsibility for creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
